When I first gave it to my 6yr old grandson he played with it for 1 1/2hrs non stop. The only criticism I would have is if there was a little display added into the package showing the different things they can do with the magnets. I managed to get some info off the website on my phone which he followed, other than that he has had lots of enjoyment from them.
